Book Nerds

Review Policy

I love reading, and I’ve been doing it for years upon years! If you’re a publisher/author/reader/etc and think you have a book/ wrote a book/ know of a book I’d probably like, I’d love to hear about it!

I welcome ARCS and already published books from publishers and authors!
If you’re an author and you don’t have any ARCS/books to give away, but think I’d really like your book, then go ahead and recommend it to me! If I like the sound of it, I’ll probably end up buying it. I never mind paying for a good story!
If you’re a visitor who thinks you know of a book I’d like, let me know!

At this moment, I am not interested in e-books, sorry! I spend enough time on the computer as it is!

If I accept a book to review:

Then I will try my best to review them! I am greatly notorious for going into a book store and leaving with 10-20 books, so I always have a list of things to read. Of course anything sent will take priority over whatever it is I’ve bought!

Reviews will include cover art, synopsis, and my personal opinions on the book. I will be completely honest and will not sugarcoat my reviews.

As well as on BookNerds, often times my reviews will be posted on either GoodReads or LibraryThing, I can do Amazon (or another retailer) by request!

How long will a review take?

If I love a book it usually takes us 1-3 days to read and review it.
If I like it but don’t LOVE it, it’ll probably take 4-6 days to read.
If I’m just not fond of it at all, it can take a week or longer.
If a book doesn’t hold my attention, I’ll go as far as I can before it’s unbearable. (I really really hate not finishing a book.)

Please keep in mind though that I ALWAYS have a list of books I’m reading, so these are only times from when I actually start reading the book. Although if you’re on a deadline, let me know, and I’ll see what I can do. I’m also known for reading more than one book at a time!
